Welcome to Aquanas
In modest conditions, Nick and Tony Anassis began a business which was to become a benchmark in the Melbourne seafood industry. That was 1959. Since then Nick’s son Jim Anassis has dedicated 38 years to the Seafood industry. As General Manager of the family business, a role he has held for more than 32 years, Jim recently undertook further commitments to ensure that he could successfully pass on the skills to the forthcoming generation. Jim has embarked on an ambitious program to take the seafood and foodservice industry to another level.

May 22 2006 saw the opening of a state of the art processing facility and wholesale food distribution warehouse. Aquanas Foods has marked the perpetuation of that family business and through the auspices of Jim’s sons Nicholas and George, the tradition continues.
